Letter from home家書

〈Letter from home〉，2023/02/12，Performance Art，30min，《2023 In Love with Poetry IV》，Yuguang Island，Tainan，Taiwan, R.O.C 

A long strip of cloth that symbolizes the great river of time is lying on the ground in the forest. The mother and the child are walking forward back to back. The mother is reading the letter that her father wrote to her mother a long time ago, and wrapping the branches on the ground around her body at the same time.

Her child puts the origami on the other side, twists origami with exquisite skill, echoing the family letter and childhood memories written by adults. The air is filled with the sound of time ticking on the audience's mobile phone until the end.

At the end, the mother and son looked at each other... We picked up the long strips of cloth on the ground together and threw them all into the air...

林間地上擺著象徵時間大河的長布條上，媽媽和孩子背對背各自前進著，媽媽在這一頭一邊讀著她父親許久許久以前，人遠在他鄉時寫給她媽媽的信，一邊將地上的樹枝兜在身上，而她的孩子在另外一頭不停地摺紙，以孩子精巧又轉折的摺紙，呼應著大人綿密、親情糾結的家書撰寫與童年記憶，空氣中瀰漫著觀眾手機中的時間滴答聲，直到走到盡頭兩端，母子回頭對望…我們一起拾起地上的長布條，將這一切拋向空中…。
